Marco Salguero
Owner and mechanical design engineer, Seattle area
Marco has worked across a variety of engineering disciplines: marine design, composite tooling, additive manufacturing research, rocket propulsion, and spacecraft structures and mechanisms.
He built most of that experience in aerospace, at a number of companies through internships and full-time roles: taking hardware from clean-sheet design through analysis, manufacturing and test, leading development of flight structures, and running company CAD and PLM systems.
Salix Engineering brings that experience to client work, using tools built so agents can take on the repetitive parts of design and analysis while the models, drawings and reports stay in forms an engineer can check and carry forward.
